I believe article marketing is still the best way to get search traffic. And I put my money where my mouth is. I am writing an article right now. And of course you are reading one right now. And my guess is that this is not the first one you have read today. Nor will it be the last one you ever read. And you will likely be influenced by the articles you read. And you are likely reading this one because you found it, or the article that referred you to this one, on Google. Or in another search engine. Or linked to by some other web content. So you read articles, and probably a lot of them. But maybe you are believing the line out there these days that they don't work. Article marketing doesn't work. And yet the bulk of the search listings you read when you are surfing are articles. They are put online through the process of article marketing. Wait, you might be saying. But I am reading this article on a blog. That's not article marketing. Actually it is. You see, article marketing is the process of writing articles and putting them online. Not just on directories. Directories are just a tool, just one way to get your articles online. But there are many other ways. Blogs. Websites. Your site. A niche blog. A niche website. Social media sites. Think of all the places you can put your articles. In fact, I believe that one of the best ways to get traffic to your website from the search engines is to write 3 articles per day and put one on each of three different sites each day. Maybe your website, a niche blog, and a niche website. Tomorrow maybe your website, an article directory, and a social media site. And maybe the next day a directory, a social media website, and a niche blog. And of course each article that you write will be linked to one other one you have written. And also send some traffic to each article. Look, if Google sees that you never tell your clients about your articles, maybe they will think your article isn't good enough for your clients, and if it isn't good enough for your clients, maybe it isn't good enough for their searchers?
