Among her backers were City grandee Lord Jacob Rothschild, Rupert Murdoch's daughter Elisabeth, TV presenter Claudia Winkleman (wife of Kris Thykier, former senior executive at Lis's husband Matthew Freud's PR firm) and Olympian Bradley Wiggins.
